Llandovery Male Voice Choir or Cor Meibion Llanymddyfri as it's known in wales, has an impressive history.

Originally founded by Railwaymen in in 1947 who came together with a desire to sing, Llandovery Male Voice choir has sionce grown to become one of the most highly respected choirs in wales.

Such a fine reputation only comes with dedication and hard work, hence we rehearse every wednesday evening at Ysgol Rhys Prichard under the guidance of two very talented and hard working ladies:  Our conductor and Director of Music, Mrs Lynne Jones and our accompanist, Mrs Elaine Robins.

Mrs Jones is a head teacher and also conducts the Trallong Ladies Choir whilst Mrs Robins teaches music throughout the carmarthenshire region in addition to conducting Cor De Cymru. Each very special concert raises money for a particular charity, our latest concert raised money for the Welsh Air Ambulance.
